WE'RE GATHERING DATA NATIONWIDE

RidingLawnMowerSafety.com is in the process of collecting data to be furnished to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and other "watch-dog" government agencies on riding lawnmower back-over accidents involving any and all riding lawnmowers, lawn tractors, and garden tractors from the different manufactuers - Murray, Honda, Snapper, Sears Craftsman, Husqvarna, John Deere, Toro and others. Therefore it is important that if you have information of a lawnmower back-over accident you provide us with this information so it can be included as part of our study.

Once we collect a sufficient amount of data on lawnmower back-over accidents, the information will be compiled and provided to the CPSC to help them in considering the adoption of mandatory back-over protection standard for riding lawnmowers. A standard that requires all manufacturers to produce riding lawnmowers that can't be put into reverse while the blades are engaged and spinning thus preventing hundreds of devastating and tramatic injuries to innocent small children every year. And if we don't collect and provide the data to CPSC nobody will.
